a group-wide, corporate memory ecosystem
Our team pursues research in the field of our CoMem - a corporate memory infrastructure that makes corporate data silos accessible with knowledge graphs for knowledge-based services. With our Semantic Desktop approach, we are able to embed these services into the working environment of users and therefore provide context-specific assistance. CoMem is both a research object itself and a real application in industrial use. Parallel to the projects, we use it ourselves 24/7 according to the saying "Eat-your-own-dogfood".
Current research topics with possibilities for PhD research include intentional forgetting, graph neural networks & embeddings, digital assistants, intelligent search, proactive information delivery, intelligent user interfaces & HCI, context awareness, machine learning, semantic technologies, ontologies, knowledge graphs, LLM, neuro-symbolic approaches, information retrieval, NLP etc.
